The House passed the Senate Amendment to H.R. 5371 - Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act 2026 that extends funding for most agencies until January 30th, 2026.

Trump’s announcement to officially designate Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern. This bold decision is a clear message to the world that the United States will never turn a blind eye to our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being martyred for their faith.

President Trump also asked Congressman Moore, alongside House Committee on Appropriations Chairman Tom Cole, to lead an investigation into the slaughtering of Christians in Nigeria.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Riley Moore today issued a strong condemnation of the violent takeover of and reported targeting of Christians in Kirawa, a border town in northeastern Nigeria, by Boko Haram militants. The assault — which reportedly involved the burning of homes, military barracks, and the district leader’s palace — has forced more than 5,000 civilians to flee into neighboring Cameroon, including many Christians. According to reports, Christians’ homes were targeted for destruction.

Moore (WV-02) and U.S. Senator Jim Risch (R-ID) filed an Amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court in support of the cases State of West Virginia v. B.P.J and Little v. Hecox. The brief supports both West Virginia and Idaho in their defense of state laws that ensure Title IX protections continue to keep men from playing and participating in women’s sports.
