Washington, D.C. – Congressman Riley M. Moore today applauded the passage of the Hershel “Woody” Williams National Medal of Honor Monument Location Act, legislation that will ensure the National Medal of Honor Monument honoring America’s Medal of Honor recipients is located in a prominent palace on the National Mall near the Lincoln Memorial.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Riley M. Moore presented a check worth $1,000,000 to Mayor Robert Riggs and Commissioner Randall Riggs to fund the Bonds Creek Water Project in Ritchie County. These federal Community Project Funds that Congressman Moore secured through his work on the House Committee on Appropriations are a major investment in Pennsboro and Ritchie County intended to address serious water quality and supply issues while also strengthening access to reliable water service. 

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Riley M. Moore presented a check worth $1,000,000 to the City of Parkersburg. The money represents a major investment in Parkersburg’s infrastructure that Congressman Moore secured by federal Community Project Funding thanks to his work on the House Committee on Appropriations.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Riley M. Moore presented a $1.5 million Community Project Funding check for the Blackwater Regional Wastewater Treatment Project, a critical infrastructure investment that will support economic growth, environmental stewardship, and community development throughout Tucker County.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Riley M. Moore presented a $1,000,000 check to complete essential engineering and design work that will pave the way to completely replacing the Market Street Bridge. Rep. Moore secured these funds through his work on the House Appropriations Committee in Fiscal Year 2026.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Riley M. Moore presented a $2,000,000 check to the City of Wheeling for the federal funding to complete the Northern Parkway Project, today. The Northern Parkway Project is a critical infrastructure investment Rep. Moore secured through his work on the House Appropriations Committee in Fiscal Year 2026.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Riley M. Moore announced that two of his Community Project Funding requests for West Virginia's Second Congressional District were approved by the House Appropriations Committee as part of the Fiscal Year 2027 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act. The legislation passed during Committee markup and will now advance to the full House of Representatives for consideration.
