Rep. Riley Moore, R-W.Va., told Newsmax on Monday that the globalists are "having a big sad" over President Donald Trump's tariffs because he is not going to allow other nations to keep taking advantage of the United States.

"Thank God we have somebody back in the White House that is actually doing something for the American people," Moore said on "Newsline." "My state, here in West Virginia, we have had countless, countless fentanyl deaths and we know where this stuff is coming from. It's been coming over the Mexican border. Those chemicals are shipped in from China.

"Nobody's been doing anything about it and within 24 hours, President Trump has now gotten the Mexicans to agree to actually do something on their own border with us. It's astounding when you actually care about the American people, what can be accomplished."

House Appropriations Committee member Rep. Riley Moore, R-W.Va., told Newsmax on Tuesday that he will work with the panel to ensure that President Donald Trump's administration continues to have the resources needed to deport criminal migrants.

"The president was so crystal clear on laying out his America first agenda, and, as it relates to the deportations, we have seen this president move faster in the last week and do more than President Biden did in his entire four years to try to address the border," Moore said on "National Report." "It's not even close. We've seen mass deportations all over this country deporting criminal aliens that are in our country who have committed crimes — rapists, murderers, you name it. I mean, the worst of the worst, and he is making this country safe again.

"I will tell you, as an appropriator on the House Appropriations Committee, I am going to do everything that I can to guarantee President Trump has all the resources he needs to continue these mass deportations," he added.

WASHINGTON (WV News) — Members of West Virginia’s congressional delegation added their signatures to a letter calling on President Donald Trump to reinstate “life-affirming” policies from his term.

Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, along with Reps. Carol Miller and Riley Moore, all Republicans, were among the 143 members of Congress who signed the letter calling on Trump to undo actions put in place by his predecessor.

House Republicans are unveiling a new bill to clear a path for President Donald Trump to enact his sweeping tariff plans.

First-term Rep. Riley Moore, R-W.Va., is reintroducing the U.S. Reciprocal Trade Act on Friday, which, if passed, would allow Trump to unilaterally make moves on import taxes from both adversaries and allies.

He would be required to notify Congress, however, which could file a joint resolution of disapproval against the moves.
