Rep. Moore Votes to Rein In Rogue Judges
Washington, D.C. – Late yesterday, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 1526, the No Rogue Rulings Act. Congressman Riley M. Moore voted “Yes” on the legislation, which limits the authority of federal district court judges to issue nationwide injunctions.
Congressman Moore issued the following statement:
“The American people gave President Trump a mandate for generational change this past November. Radical leftwing judges should not be able to unilaterally hold up the agenda backed by 77 million Americans.
“We’ve now seen the Supreme Court take the extraordinary step of quickly slapping down these rogue activist judges — on multiple occasions — and it’s time Congress reined in their ability to block the America First Agenda over partisan disagreement. I’m proud to have voted ‘Yes’ today.”
